THE ONLY LIMIT IS YOUR IMAGINATION

Welcome to the world of "Glass Creations". All the products displayed on this site have been formed and shaped by hand, a process known as "Lampworking". A blend of traditional skills and modern technology, producing an item of superior quality at competitive prices. Glass artist Ian Pearson, creates his pieces here in the Thurso Glass Studio, where everyone is welcome. Small Animals, Flowers, Names, Birthday and Anniversary Gifts are our pride, and are items that will be a keepsake, as well as a gift for future generations.

A gift from Scotland is always something special. Our Highland Collection is just that. Joining Glassblowing skills, with the influence of local scenery, Ian has created an Affordable mixture of Caithness and Scottish Glassware, that is clear, uncomplicated, and sharply defined. Within our ever-increasing range, The Piper, Eagle, Thistle and Puffin are easily the most loved by our customers.

Unique presentation pieces made to our customers' own specification are also an everyday part of our work.

Since 1969, the skill of Lampworking has been learnt and practised by Ian, with the result that "Glass Creations" has now become very well known. Our customers have come to expect a service from us that is sadly lacking in today's market, that is one of complete commitment to the product and the before and after sales.

On 3rd May 2005 Ian's wife, Maureen, died after a short illness and, in her memory, Glass Creations continues to operate with a flame more intense and creative than ever before. The spirit of Maureen lives on in every atom of glass as she was the inspiration for Glass Creations. A copy of Maureen's obituary, written by Ian, can be read by clicking this link (PDF file - requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).
